When I was a teenager my father was selling insurance and building bonds to construction companies so I got the opportunity to have some pretty neat summer jobs. When I graduated high school I enrolled in Tri-State Carpentry Apprenticeship Program. Its a 4 year school that teaches the proper techniques in the building trade. After graduating that in 1991 I did two semesters at Chattanooga State in Architectural Design followed by Supervisory training and blue print design at A.G.C. I'm a Journeyman Carpenter and a Craftsman.

I've had the opportunity to work under and with some of the greats as far as owners of some major construction companies in the past. Kenneth Raines, C.A Parks, Bruce Goodwin and Jeff Morgan just to name a few. I've also worked along side some well known Architectural firms as well. Franklin and Associates would be my most memorable.

I have supervised and managed hundred's of jobs over the years ranging from several thousand to over 20 million dollar projects.

My success is motivated not by pride but by accomplishment ! My goal is a happy and very satisfied home or business owner.

I've lived and worked in Chattanooga all my life and plan to stay. I hope you'll consider Horner Construction and Design for your next project.
